The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Obituary for Andrew L. Williams

Andrew L.  Williams
Andrew L. Williams, 66, of Port Ewen, NY died suddenly Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Andy was born in Newburgh, NY on September 25th, 1951, a son of the late William Henry and Ida Mae (Pardee) Williams.

A veteran of the US Army, he was employed as a tractor trailer driver for over 20 years. Andy was well-known in the Port Ewen community as the "go-to" guy for lawn tractor repair. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, mowing and loved animals of all kinds. Most of all, he loved to make people smile.

He is survived by one daughter, Andrea Pucino, one son, Andrew L. Williams, Jr. two sisters, Shirley Kaus and Hattie Lukach, and one brother, William H. Williams, Jr., two granddaughters, Katherine and Kiarra, two grandsons, Andrew and Kai, and one great-grandson, Cater. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a community of very special friends also survive.

Andy is predeceased by two sisters, Ida Kamerollo and Ann Coddington, and two step-brothers, James and Elmer Alberts.

Family and friends will be received at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, on Thursday, May 24th, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The service will follow at 4:00 pm.

Cremation at Wiltwyck Crematory at a later date will be private.
